But I've spent more time inside hospital walls than most people ever will, first as a patient fighting for my own life, then as a mother watching my child battle chronic illness through countless inpatient stays.
In those rooms, I watched you.

I watched nurses show up exhausted, underpaid, and still giving everything. I studied them. I interviewed them. And I started asking the question nobody else was asking:
